| EYY 164: novaLink164, Terepi modul 4 DO (0-I)
The EYY164 novaLink164 field module is part of the EY3600 family of systems. As a remote unit in automatic mode, it enables the direct issue of four digital 0-I switching commands. The unit has a 'Power' LED and other LEDs that indicate the status (0-I) of the digital outputs. In addition, switches enable the user to control or override the switching commands manually, so the field module can also be used as a local manual operating unit. The EYX168 nova106 DO driver card or the nova215 or nova225 EY3600 automation stations are used to activate the field module. The connection from the field module to the driver card or automation station is effected via the novaLink field telegram and permits distances of up to 100 metres between the field module and the driver card The power supply and the communication data are transmitted on the novaLink field telegram. If the power supply is interrupted on the novaLink field telegram, the system changes over to the back-up power supply The emergency back-up power supply comes from either a separate 24 V~ transformer or indirect from the EYZ101 UPS unit. Using an additional signal, a priority function can be activated for each function; this releases a value (set beforehand) between 0 and I with the highest priority. This field module is used, for example, to switch regulating units, such as contactors or motors, from decentralised locations. |
